Being Place: Score based offering & Artist Encounter

Embark on an immersive exploration of Limerick city through Beatrice Jarvis’ self-guided score based offerings on a self-guided walk. This unique somatic experience employs the camera as a tool to cultivate eco-somatic awareness. Participants are encouraged to approach this experience with a heightened curiosity. They are invited to translate explorations into reflections, which may take the format of video, movement or text based reflection during / post the walk.

These scores give rise to screen dance reflections, capturing the delicate process of dissolution into our surroundings. Beatrice will hold space in Dance Limerick at the below times where participants can engage with the artist, pick up scores to explore, and share reflections of their experiences.

The below encounters are drop-in and free of charge, no booking required:
