Light Moves co-curator Laura Murphy travelled in November for Cannes for Festival de Danse Cannes to represent the festival as part of the annual Compétition Film-Danse MOV’IN Cannes.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that this year’s winning PRIX DU MINISTÈRE DE LA CULTURE film is Sunken Works/Don’t Bite by Ghaliah Conroy, a film that was put forward to MOV’IN Cannes by Light Moves, and was also screened earlier this month as part of the festival in Limerick.
Wishing a huge congratulations to Ghaliah on this fantastic win!
It was also wonderful to bump into choreographer and filmmaker Tanin Torabi, a great friend of Light Moves and winner of our Overall Film Award this year.
