Light Moves Festival Celebrates Adventurous Dance, Film & Media Arts. It is a festival that drives development of the possibilities of its artform, as inquiry and development form key parts of our programming. The Festival is artist-led, and the synergy of partnership exists in the making and manifestation of the work.

Purpose

Light Moves delivers vibrant interdisciplinary experiences bridging dance, new media and screen-based practices that reward and stimulate audiences and artists. We do this to promote collaboration, nurture creative communities and foster a culture of support, respect and expansive opportunities for national and international artists.

Vision

Our vision is to shape the future through dance, film and media art, connecting Limerick internationally with bold and inspiring artistic encounters.
